April 29 - May 2: Teacher Appreciation Week
A week of activities and opportunities for students and their families to say "thank you" to their teachers.
May 5-11: AIE High School Trip
The week-long high school trip in the spring is an annual highlight for many of our students in grades 9-12. Those choosing to travel with us all four years visit such places as Mt. Rushmore; Badlands National Park; the Alamo; the Houston Space Center; Graceland; Ruby Falls; St. Augustine and the Fountain of Youth; Biltmore Estate; the Statue of Liberty; the Liberty Bell; and Independence Hall, to name a few. This year the group will visit Jamestown and Colonial Williamsburg, in Virginia; tour a chocolate factory in Hershey, Pennsylvania; visit an Amish homestead; walk the Freedom Trails in Philadelphia and Boston; and go whale-watching off Plymouth, Massachusetts. Students, teachers and parents bond during the bus ride as they play games, sing, watch movies and sleep between stops. A great high school memory!

At the Academy For Individual Excellence, our goal is to teach our students four basic principles that will support them as adults living healthy lives:
