Quala Care Preschool
Welcome to Quala Care preschool. We are located right behind the Jeffersontown Library at 3101 Bluebird Lane, just off Watterson Trail. Quala Care has been serving children in the Jeffersontown area for more than 20 years. Many people know us as the preschool program for the Academy for Individual Excellence.
Our program is designed to serve children who are between the ages of 2 and 5. We operate at or near capacity on a regular  basis. The preschool is licensed by the state to care for 50 children and has consistently received perfect scores in its inspections and licensure reviews.
The preschool is open from 7:00am to 6:00 pm. This allows the school to operate educationally as a preschool and yet serves the communities’ needs by offering a convenient daycare schedule to parents who work outside the home.
Through the years, we have been fortunate to have low turn over in both our staff and the children we serve. This low turn over allows us to have a wonderful family-type environment with competent, experienced staff and children who develop friendships that last.
It is the objective of the preschool to provide an atmosphere conducive for the developmental growth of your child. Every aspect of the day will be considered a learning experience in which the children will be taught listening skills, cooperation with peers and meal-time manners, as well as other social and personal responsibilities.
We will provide opportunities for creativity in art, music, movement and drama. Multi-age socialization is an important component of the family-style at Quala Care as the children spend time playing and interacting in mixed age groups throughout the day.

Ms. Jeanne Mynatt has served as the Director of Quala Care preschool for three years and assistant director for several years prior to that. She has been employed as a teacher at Quala Care for 18 years and has demonstrated an understanding of our philosophy and the ability to implement it. Her staff is well-trained and cohesive. Her love for children and her expectations for their development make her a valued member of the administrative team.
