The Academy believes that pursuits outside of the classroom help to develop a child as a whole person. The Academy is currently able to offer a limited number of extra-curricular activities, with the expectation that there will be opportunities to include more as the program continues to grow. High school students have the opportunity to participate in bowling, drama, archery and golf.
In addition, the Academy also has a growing athletic program. The Academy is a member of the KCAA (Kentucky Christian Athletic Association). This association allows the Academy the opportunity to play schools of similar size and athletic opportunities and to participate in regional and state tournaments. In addition to being a member of the KCAA, the Academy’s Athletic Director currently serves as the Regional Director of the league. The Academy presently offers girls’ volleyball and basketball, boys’ basketball, and co-ed soccer with the league. A gymnasium gives Academy athletes of all ages a state of the art facility for physical education, intramural leagues, open gym time, practices and games.
